Sons, A Diamente Poem

Posted elsewhere on March 29, 2011. Revised on August 13, 2011.

Jo’s given me more fodder for thought in the form of poetic instruction.
Here’s the result:

sons

distant, close

fighting, growing, changing

Alpha, Omega, blinding, bright

infuriating, loving, endearing

warm, essential

sunrays

The above is my first attempt at writing a Diamente poem:

Diamante poetry written in seven lines to form a diamond shape, [follows] precise rules for the types of words that go on each line.

Wow Em, I don’t know anything about poetic forms and such. But the words you used are brilliant. I love the relationship you grafted between son, and sun.

I just stopped by because I posted a video that I know you will get a kick out of. (Being as you seem to know your way around certain kilt wearing beings). heheh Do stop in if you get the chance.
