The Gooseberry Poetry Picnic Week 15

For Sara, Wishing You Fair Winds

She’s upped and vanished.

Appears as if some one wishes to

Remove her from our midsts, our memories.

Ain’t gonna happen!

Whomever she’s touched with her

Extraordinary wit and wonder, and that’s each

And every one of us who’s read her words— we

Relish, really treasure all our exchanges with her. Her insights …

Every word she’s shared…

Her energy…her warmth…her

Essence… We shall hold these tightly,

Recalling what we shared was really love, light & laughter. For

Each of our worlds is a better place thanks to Sara’s passing meander.
